My name is Sofia Williams. I moved to Block Island at sixteen and started my journey into photography when I began my internship with The Block Island Times, where I discovered my love for photography. I fell in love with taking pictures—from landscapes to oceanography to surf photography. I’m excited to share these images with both islanders and visitors who also appreciate the ocean’s beauty.

Through my photography, I hope to bring a piece of the island’s magic to you, whether it’s through a print for your home or just a glimpse into the beauty I’m lucky enough to witness every day.
